USEA Junior Rider Profiled on Abercrombie and Fitch website

Thirteen-year-old Ashley Kemp of Ball Ground, Georgia was chosen in December by Abercrombie & Fitch to be the subject of a lifestyles profile on their Abercrombie Kids website (www.abercrombiekids.com). Several times a year the company profiles a young teenager involved in a sport thought to be interesting to millions of other teens throughout the country. To see Ashley and Ben in action, visit www.abercrombiekids.com, click on the Lifestyles button the bottom right side of the page, and then click the button that says Ashley Profiled.

When researching possible equestrian sports, they discovered eventing, contacted
the USEA to help in a talent search, and voila, a star was born. The company sent a film crew to meet up with Ashley at Poplar Place Farm (www.poplarplacefarm.com) in Hamilton, Georgia. Owners Gary and Donna Stegman graciously offered them the run of their gorgeous facility; host site to several USEA recognized horse trials each year.

Ashley and Ben, her adorable grey Thoroughbred gelding, looked like seasoned pros in front of the camera. With Poplar Place Farm as a backdrop, the footage is stunning and truly captures the essence of the sport—the partnership of horse and rider, and the joy of galloping across country. The site also offers more information on the sport and invites browsers to learn more at the USEA’s website.
