MANAGEMENT CLINIC WITH Springtown Stables presents an incredible opportunity to learn from international event rider, Imtiaz Anees. This clinic is geared for riders wanting to learn tips on horse management and training systems. Beginners to Advanced – all levels welcomed! Cost of Clinic is $50 per participant. Format of Clinic: A full day beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. Groups will be small and rotated to cover all topics. Topics discussed and demonstrated will be: Management of upper level barns - Liniment application - Leg management - Medication Braiding - Studding - Grooming - Injecting techniques - Careers in the horse industry - Nutrition - Pre-purchase exams: what to ask for and what to look for when buying horses - Riding a dressage test - Distances for grids and exercises in show jumping - Walking a show jumping course - Systematic goal setting and drawing up plans and timetables for your riding program Entries should be mailed SIRE Inc. 114 Bartlett Drive, Sharpsburg , GA 30277. 27TH JULY Springtown Stables presents an incredible opportunity to train with international dressage rider, Susan Dutta. This clinic is geared for riders with a focus on setting and achieving goals while having fun with their horse. Beginners to Advanced – all levels welcomed! Susan Dutta In recent years, Susan has emerged as one of the top ranked dressage riders in the United States . Her competitive highlights have included numerous wins and top placings at some of the nation’s most prestigious events in Grand prix, Freestyle, Open, and Intermediare divisions. Her international career has yielded her 1 Individual Gold, 1 Team Gold, and 1 Team Bronze all at one event: 2002 Coupe des Ameriques in Blainville , Canada ; she has qualified for both the World Cup Games and Olympic Selection Trials. Format of Clinic: Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th Fees: $350 for both days. This includes a 1 hr private lesson and two nights stabling.
